© COBE BerlinThe fourth annual ISU Talks series is a public one-day conference and will be dedicated to the theme of “Urban Africa”. While the phenomenon of urbanization in the African context is much discussed, less attention has been paid on design strategies for sustainable cities that could accommodate the urban population. This forum is meant to instigate a discussion about urban development and urban regeneration strategies.

We look forward to welcome Fabienne Hoelzel (Fabulous Urban/ETH Zürich); Hubert Nienhoff (gmp); Daan Roggeveen (MORE Architecture), Tjark Gall (TU Braunschweig/ NGO Urban Framework), and Thomas Stellmach (TSPA). The event is concluded with the speakers in a round table discussion together with Prof. Phillip Oswalt (University of Kassel).
